Co lest Bike The Coolest Bike award goes to (what I think is) this awesome fixed gear creation.
I give full credit to the athlete riding this bike. Not only am I transfixed to your different color wheels, but you
are also rollin with loafers instead of bike shoes. You really love that bike, don't you? Go Bianchi! (Click the photo to view 2nd and 3rd place bikes.)

Blazing
Biker Award John may have won Tinman 2009, but he was also first in "Bike" with the time of 58:32.9.
He flew by me so fast, I wasn't quite able to catch a clear shot. By the time Tim Marr flew past me, I was a little more
prepared. The bike time, speed and sounds past me, position and coolness were considered in awarding the cyclists listed.

Best
Competitive Expression
Best Competitive Expression I'm not able to capture all expressions throughout
the whole race; but, once in a while I get a nice surprise. That's how I felt about this photo. You can really feel that
they are giving their whole self to the very end. (Click on this photo to view other competitive expressions.)
Coolest Runner Award

Co lest Runner Award I've chosen this runner not only because of his full body extension, but my whole experience
when he ran past me. I was not fast enough to adjust my camera properly (because of
his speed), nor was I even able to get a shot of his face. During his whole "run by", he was just casually checking
out his competition behind him. Hats off to him. (click this photo to view other favorites)

Most Inspiring I've chosen this athlete (gentleman in the center wearing yellow) as my most inspiring. Not only
do I choose him for the obvious, but all the other athletes were checking him out as they either rode past or behind him.
Wonderful job! Thank you.
Heaviest
Feet Award

Heaviest Feet Award I'm offering the "Heaviest Feet Award" not to show you how worn out the athlete is, but
to show you dedication. All athletes in this list finished the Tinman Triathlon, with respect. Their faces just expressed
more inner strength than others. They pushed themselves past their ability line and fought off limitations. That’s inspirational
too! (click photo to view more)
